Wisconsin Campus Compact K-16 Service-Learning AmeriCorps*VISTA Project - UW-Extension members
The Wisconsin K-16 AmeriCorps*VISTA Service Learning Project funds 35 AmeriCorps*VISTA members to serve as service-learning coordinators at higher education institutions and partner organizations throughout Wisconsin. Central project goals are to develop partnerships among higher education institutions and low-income communities to create sustainable anti-poverty programs, and to improve academic achievement and aspirations of low-income children in grades K-12.
